We released a beta in the fall of 2025, and after months of testing, officially went live in mid February 2026.

What We Shipped in Q1
We shipped hundreds of improvements this quarter. A few worth mentioning:
Cash Secured Puts and Assignment Risk
ThetaEdge is no longer just a covered call platform. This is what we mean by Options Intelligence: portfolio-aware analysis across every income and risk-defined strategy, surfaced before you act. It's a decision-support layer built around your specific holdings.
We've added cash secured put opportunities with full cash position tracking in your portfolio. Assignment risk is now displayed on every opportunity so you can see the probability before you trade.
Beyond that, the entire opportunities experience got a round of upgrades: editable premium in opportunity drawers, smarter roll logic with no gap between an expired covered call and a new one, missed opportunities surfaced so you never lose a trade idea, ITM filters for more control, and a covered call calculator that now works on weekends.
Multi-Leg Strategies Have Arrived
This is a big one. ThetaEdge now supports 2-leg combo strategies including straddles, strangles, and spreads. Whether you're looking to hedge or express a directional view with defined risk, multi-leg support opens up a whole new set of possibilities, all integrated into the existing portfolio workflow.
See Your Portfolio Like Never Before
We now track historical unrealized P&L, which means your performance charts are finally accurate over time, not just a snapshot of today. We added year-based gains filtering and pie chart visualizations for portfolio breakdowns. Under the hood, Redis caching makes everything load dramatically faster.
Thetix AI: Your Personal Trading Radar
Thetix, our AI radar, got its biggest upgrade yet. And honestly, this might be the most exciting thing we shipped all quarter.
Fits Like a Glove
Tell Thetix to remember things ("remember I'm conservative", "note that I avoid earnings week") and it keeps that context for every future conversation. The more you chat, the better it understands your goals and preferences. Conversations get more relevant to you over time.

Mobile-First, Everywhere
We went through every screen in the app (tabs, menus, drawers, options views, position views) and rebuilt it for phones. If you haven't tried ThetaEdge on mobile recently, now is the time.
A Fresh Look
The entire website got a top-to-bottom redesign with a new hero section, How It Works page, team section, FAQ, and revamped pricing. Everything is fully mobile-responsive.

Thetix now helps guide the conversation, assisting you in doing better investment research.
Save Reports
Convert any chat into a saved report with a title, so your best analyses are easy to find later. The chat drawer now has two sections: Conversations and Saved Reports, each with their own pagination.
Smoother Onboarding
We streamlined the getting-started flow from three steps down to two, added goal-setting with visual icons, and redesigned login and signup for mobile.
More Reliable Brokerage Connections
Reconnecting a broken connection now triggers a full sync on restore so you don't miss any transactions. We also improved handling of transfers and added automatic trimming of spaces in ticker input (a small thing that caused a surprising number of issues).

Snap a screenshot of your positions and ThetaEdge extracts them using OCR. No manual entry required.
API keys (experimental)
